really did enjoy painting this piece been a long time since i have drawn a tyto owl, knew for earth i wanted to do a tyto owl due to growing up with the stories of barn owls being the ghosts of the earth and countryside, and any one who has been outside when a barn owl flies past will understand where it comes from especially when you hear one

-Tyto owl - due to english myths of barn owls (same family ) as the ghosts of the countryside

-apple blossom- victorian symbol of the earth a symbol of fertility and life

-goat - a symbol of capricorn the strongest earth symbol of the zodiac

-acorn - symbol of the earth in many legends (mostly western)

- white robes- germanic legend of the earth goddess Nerthus

-bridle on the goat - in many legends an anchor ,or something similar vines roots etc, is in myths to do with the earth
